Salsedine is the first pair of glasses dedicated to Maratea, produced in a limited edition of only 50 pieces. Each piece is handcrafted in acetate and equipped with 100% UVA/ UVB lenses, synonymous with excellence and quality. Inspired by the wild beauty, unspoiled nature and rugged coastline with mountains and hills plunging into the sea, Maratea’s Thea Maris - Goddess of the Sea as the ancients called her.

1955 models are available in a single size, but dimensions vary depending on the model. The fit is determined by the lens width and overall frame width. To find the ideal fit for your face shape, refer to the guide below:

- Narrow: Best suited for those with a slim, elongated face and a narrower temple width.
- Regular: Ideal for individuals with well-balanced forehead and chin proportions of medium size. Most 1955 models are designed in this fit.
- Wide: Recommended for those with a broader forehead.

If you already own a pair of sunglasses, we recommend checking the measurements engraved on the inside of the left temple and comparing them with the sizing chart below.

If you already have a well-fitting pair of glasses, you can compare the three measurements printed on the inside of the left temple with those listed in the table below.

These measurements (e.g., 46-23-145) represent:

- Lens Width (mm): The horizontal dimension of a single lens.
- Bridge Distance (mm): The space between the two lenses.
- Temple Length (mm): The full length of one temple, from the front of the frame to the tip.

Orders are processed and shipped from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Orders placed before 12pm CET will be shipped on the same day, and orders placed after 12pm CET will be shipped on the next day.
Please note, the orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed the next Monday.

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped.

For orders to Extra-EU countries, taxes and customs duties are not included at checkout. Customs duties vary from country to country and we are not able to predict the amount of such costs over which we have no control. For this reason, any additional customs clearance costs should be borne by the buyer.For information on customs policies of foreign countries, we invite you to contact your local customs office as these costs may vary.

Return Conditions:

Returns must be requested within 7 days of receiving the order.
Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging (including accessories and documentation).
Custom or personalized products cannot be returned, except in cases of manufacturing defects.

Once approved, you will receive instructions on how to ship the item back.
Upon receiving and inspecting the product, we will process your refund or exchange within 7 business days.
