Our new model inspired by and created for the city of Maratea.
Salsedine is the first pair of glasses dedicated to Maratea, produced in a limited edition of only 50 pieces.
Each piece is handcrafted in Mazzucchelli acetate and equipped with 100% UVA/UVB lenses.
Inspired by the wild beauty, unspoiled nature and rugged coastline with mountains and hills plunging into the sea, Maratea’s Thea Maris - Goddess of the Sea as the ancients called her.
Salsedine lines are inspired by sea kayaking.
The lines recall those of the masks used in water sports, the colors are inspired by the chromatic variations of the Basilicata beaches.

Born from the meeting between Marco Buoncristiano, of the company 1955, and Enrico Iannini, skipper and founder of FLY MARATEA, which since 2009 leads to discover Maratea "sea view" and in an ecological way through water sports and sea kayaking.
